As an artifact generated from a search for newness, the travelogue enables a rethinking of architecture that can challenge its conventions and traditions. This CALL FOR ENTRIES seeks to document and catalog a moment of looking “elsewhere”. The ability to step outside the routine of academia, to view a new environment with old eyes or an old environment with new eyes, represents a moment that can reinvigorate a students position relative to design discourse.- 06.May

House VI.. Eisenman.. Indexical diagrams.. I think this is really all the 2331 blog has been about so far. Appropriately so given the base of last semester’s studio. But that is behind us now. In good measure, the last of the transformational diagrams were used to wrap presents to provide the opportunity to watch family and friends rip them to shreds, with their only concern being the contents contained within.
