Lluis Ortega is an Assistant Professor at IaaC in Barcelona, as well as at the Harvard GSD in Boston.

Ortega has been in practice in the firm F451 Arquitectura in Barcelona since 1998. His work is instructive and offers concepts that lead to pedagogical innovation.

As Chief Editor in 2003-2005 of the Catalan architecture periodical Quaderns Ortega contributed a new approach to the publication of architecture and urbanism by introducing text and diagrams that explain the combination of the two scales of construction as representative of the disparate institutions and constituencies that must be brought together.
