Second Year Grads are back! Here’s a quick update about us and a peek into our studio, one week before midterm.

An peek into the first year graduate class at UIC, who are currently under the guidance of Andrew Zago for their Spring semester studio. The studio has thus far been an intensive study of figures in three-dimensional composition, and these figures, more specifically, are the character-set of the clean, modernist “Futura” font.

With midterms quickly approaching and eyes lids increasing in weight, we begin to see the long awaited light of the halfway mark. A preparation pin-up helps us finalize the projects and practice our presentations for the upcoming review.
